This week I learned of a prominent "app hero" of mine had given up apps because it was not as passive as they thought. There really is a magic that people attribute to the app market and it clouds judgement. The developers are are irrational by betting on the irrationality of their users. It's a bubble and I think it's starting to pop now.

And I think that is good news for all of us.
