Playing with a Particle Internet Button

The Particle (particle.io - formerly the Spark Core) is a WiFi internet aimed microcontroller. It's sold in a kit with a demo shield as The Internet Button. I take a look, try the tools and demo's and say what I thought of it.

The device was given to me by a friend to evaluate and play with - perhaps compare it with the esp8266, and see if there is a visual language for use with schools or kids clubs.
