This video shows most of the ways you can grind for Diamonds, Levels (that give you diamonds as you level up), and Points (useful for upgrading characters, runs out fast, which gives diamonds).

By the way, you have to max level an object to complete one album. Do check whether it gives object upgrade tickets, diamond boxes or diamond gacha tickets.
