OTB's Linux "Lockdown" Ramble, Plus A First Look at Storm OS
OldTechBloke
This ramble takes it's normal approach and meanders from topic to topic as they come into my head.
There is a structure, of sorts, but it's very relaxed.
I start by talking about how I've been keeping myself occupied over the last few weeks before moving on to chat about hardware upgrades I've recently purchased, my obsession with Thinkpads, my ongoing experiments with tiling window managers, channels I've been watching, and, finally, I take a first look at Storm OS.
Storm OS is the successor to Hackman Linux and is the brainchild of Ben Fitzpatrick. Ben worked with Silent Robot to get this latest distro up to par.
It's an Arch based XFCE system that comes packed with goodies for gamers and anyone interested in making and editing videos.
The look and feel is very polished. The link to the Sourceforge page is here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hackman-linux/files/2020/?fbclid=IwAR3vLX8Rh9541-C91o2rTXA6TzP-nY3jPjRWAhHdetap-cvweEZfaSAJ6CE
