Mageia Linux 8 RC - Mandrake Linux Reincarnated

I've never taken a look at Mageia before so thought it was high time I did!

The distro has been around since 2010 so it's no newcomer, but it seems to be rarely considered as an option in this day and age when Debian and Arch based distros are very much in the ascendant and rpm distros get little attention.

However, it's a solid offering and a very nice plasma desktop with an excellent welcome screen that takes you through every aspect of initial setup.

Giuve it a try, you may have found your nexxt distro.
