Installing FuryBSD and Feeling Like a *Newb*
OldTechBloke
It's about time to try a BSD system I thought to myself.
What about a vanilla FreeBSD install? Errr....possibily not. What about something with a pre-configured desktop?
That's what FuryBSD offers, but it is basically still FreeBSD.
So watch my stumbling steps as an experienced Linux user steps into the unknown.
Overall it was a good experience but I really need to RTFM before I take it any further.
However, it gave me a bit of insight into how new Linux users feel.
If you want to do the same you can download the iso file from sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/furybsd/files/12.1-2020Q2-XFCE
Hope you enjoy the video. Again, it's Old School. Ramble On!
