Haiku - An Open Source OS That's Different From The Norm
OldTechBloke
Haiku has nothing to do with Linux or Windows. It has its ancestry in BeOS that was around in the 1990s, and it has been in development since 2001.
It's still only at Beta3, but I thought I'd give it a spin to see what it has to offer.
I found it very useable and an interesting OS that has been built from the ground up to be a user friendly desktop orientated OS that prioritizes simplicity and usability over anything else.
Whilst still technically a beta, it can be a used as a daily driver and I'm certainly going to spend more time in it to learn it's features and its quirks.
I hope you enjoy the video :-)
