Programming in BASIC on the Color Computer Chapter 17 "Mind your PMODE"
ogStevieStrow
As we continue our journey in programming in BASIC on the Color Computer, we now learn all about the PMOE command, which allows us to specify a specific graphics mode, and graphics page.
There are 5 PMODE options, from 0-4, with 2 color and 4 color options, featuring low, medium, and high resolution graphics.
The lower the resolution and color mode, the more pages you have to work with, the higher the resolution and color mode, the less pages you have to work with.
PMODE MODE# sets the mode and PMODE MODE#, PAGE# sets the active page to work on.
We work with a type in demo to change modes, resolutions, and color options to see how each one looks.
