Programming in BASIC chapter 21 "Draw the Line somewhere" DIY program 21-3
ogStevieStrow
As we continue chapter 21 in programming in BASIC on the Color Computer, we come to DIY program 21-3 which asks us to use the DRAW command to draw our name.
I took some liberties with this, and decided to take each of these draw commands, and turn the letters of my name into string variables that would allow me more flexibility on how and where to draw them on the screen.
See if you can keep up with my random madness as I think my way through this process, but I think the end has a nice pay off, and opens up the great idea of creating a library routine of generating the entire alphabet graphically, which will come in handy for future games.
