Programming in BASIC chapter 21 "Draw the Line somewhere" conclusion.
ogStevieStrow
We have come to the end of Chapter 21, using the DRAW command in Extended Color BASIC, and it's a fun command, with a LOT of functionality. The last few items we learned were how to draw "blank" lines in a particular direction, how to use the "N:" option (no update) to return to our starting point, and how to use "X" to "execute" a "sub-string" which is a "Draw within a draw" if you will.
We have been thrown down a gauntlet of DIY challenges, from creating a pie chart with a separated slice, to creating the entire alphabet and drawing words, to updating our house to simulate opening and closing doors.
I'm like the smell of what we're cooking!
