In this tutorial you'll learn how you can easily add an animated gif with transparent background over a still image, using GIMP.

No plugins are needed; you won't have to copy and paste the background under each layer.

For this tutorial, I used Gimp 2.10x This was edited using Blender 2.8 The assets were created in Inkscape
