Decoding PWM signal from an R/C receiver.

This video shows an experiment I did, to try and use R/C receiver servo PWM signals, as input to an AVR microcontroller. In this case the microcontroller just prints the input value and pulse width timings on an alphanumeric LCD. I'm also showing the actual signal produced by the R/C receiver on an oscilloscope.

I haven't thought of an actual application for this yet. The obvious one being to control some sort of MCU-based device remotely with a standard R/C transmitter like the one I have for my R/C helicopter.
