Space is pretty big and scary, but we still want to get out there and see for ourselves. Let’s take a look at what’s waiting for us out there.

Galaxies are being eaten alive by something and we can’t even see what’s eating them. THE GREAT ATTRACTOR is a space anomaly megastructure near the Centaurus constellation. It’s pulling several galaxies, including ours, towards it at an incredible speed. The size of the anomaly is so great that it is theorized to be tilting the universe itself.

Supermassive blackholes are the most destructive things thought possible and we have one at the center of our galaxy… but there is something even more dangerous. ROGUE BLACK HOLES are roaming the universe at millions of miles per hour and devouring everything in their path.

Someday our sun will die out, but even further down the line, every single star will die out too. Any surviving beings will spend their last days orbiting the dying stars as they fade away. Those beings will witness the last moments of light and warmth that the universe has to offer. THE HEAT DEATH OF THE UNIVERSE theory posits that everything will end in eternal darkness.

For all the terror out there in space, there is also beauty and wonder. The star Fomalhaut, “The Eye of God”. The corpse of a supernova, “The Hand of God”. The Rosette Nebula, “The Face of….”. What do you think?
