Timber Frame Pergola Build: Part 4 - Cutting Joinery on Beams, Finishing, Flashing, and Staging

Fourth part of a series on building this timber frame pergola using Japanese timber framing techniques. In this video I turn cut the joinery on the beams, mostly large angled half lap joints and mortises. Then all the beams are hand planed and flashed with copper where needed. All the parts are complete and ready for install.
