How To Build a Frame and Panel Hutch in Japan

From design to raw lumber to joinery and finishing. Here is the process I used to build the display case for a bakery front store while I was apprenticing in Japan. It is a traditional frame and panel design with double mortise and tenon joinery, hand planed white oak, and a framed floating top.
