Building a Stout Work Cart By Mostly Hand
Never Stop Building LLC
I built this work-cart mostly as a practice experiment in using some new hand tools, Japanese saws and chisels, and practicing joinery.
The cart is constructed of quarter sawn douglas fir posts with lap joints and through dove-tail tenons with walnut wedges.
The handles were cut from half inch steel plate on a water jet cutter and then heated and bent for some twist effects. All the metal parts were heat blackened. The finish is tung oil.
