The CRS is not a router..... YET.. ?

Have you ever had the urge to stick your finger in a light socket? DONT! The same goes for routing on a mikrotik CRS. In the 6xx series firmware you cannot route on a CRS. Even though it has ROS on it it is not meant for routing. If you route on it the CPU will max out at or below 100Mbps. Rumor's are circulating that in the fabled ROS 7XX these switches will become L3 through some type of Black magic. But not yet!
