JavaScript Promises (part 1)

Today we learned about JS Promises, why they are useful, and how to write them. Part 1 goes over theory and basic application. Part 2 focuses on alternative syntax and also promise chaining. Part 3 is a more realistic example of how to use promises and also a small activity to help you practice using them.
