Arduino Project: Commodore 64 interfacing across the user port

I decided to try and connect a commodore 64 across the user port, using rs-232, to the arduino. I eventually want to let the c64 tweet but for now I am just sending a string.

Hopefully this tutorial helps some people, feel free to ask questions.
