Ryobi RSI-18 soldering portable iron on test

If you are a regular view to my channel you may have noticed I like my Ryobi tools. I feel they are good value for money and are extremely durable and reliable. This soldering iron is no exception! I plan to use it in theLand Rover as inn. the past I need to run out a power cable so as I could use my mains powered Weller.

I couple of things I noted about tRyobi though are the following:

1. The cable is a bit short for my liking
2. The cable isn't very flexible
3. There is no cleaning sponge location

Apart from that it seems to be a great bit of kit. apparently is has a 82cm cable not 83cm as I stated in the video!

Run time with a 2amp battery is 92mins and 230mins for a 5amp.
