Plastic furniture hack. It really works!

We have some old and sun battered plastic garden furniture. They must be 12 or more years old. Apart from their look they still function very well. There are various ways to make this old furniture look better and the method I choose was get a blow-lamp on it! You've seen the results, what do you think? Be carful not to over heat the plastic or else you will spoil the surface finish (as I did when you try and video and blow-lamp at the same time!) All you are really doing is burning off/remelting the very top surface of the plastic. I'm happy with the results and it has breathed a new life into the chairs and tables. Time will tell if I am able to do it again in a few years time.
The blow-lamp I used is the Rothenberger Surefire 2. Its a very versatile blow-lamp and I've had it for years and installed a number of central heating systems and performed various plumbing repairs in its lifetime and it has been faultless. It will take normal propane or the hotter MAPP gas disposable cyclnders. Links are below:
