Pillar Drill (Bench press) lighting upgrade using an LED angle eye

Another upgrade for the pillar drill. This time a new angle eye led ring to shine extra light onto the work piece I'm drill. Very simple job as I already had a 24v DC supply on the drill from an earlier project although if I hadn't it would have been a simple wall wart PSU. The angle eye is an led ring which people use to upgrade their cars by placing them around the headlights. BMW have been doing this for a while. Be carful in selection as most sellers only give you the external dimensions. The internal size is what's important. Second time lucky!

Link to the eBay seller that gave both internal and external sizes. The one I bought worked on a supply of about 10v unto 24v although the seller says only 12v. I ran some tests and everything is good at 24v.
