Neoteck voltage tester. Not as good as I had hoped!

If you've watched the video then you know both of my voltage testers had failed and so after a bit of a search found the Neoteck at Amazon so bought it. It has a lot of bells and whistles going for it but listening back to my video towards the end you can tell I was a bit underwhelmed with it. Hence its return! The main problem for be was its high sensitivity so I could never really identify a live wire from a dead one. I'm sure people will tell me to use a meter, and this is true if you need to be absolutely sure at these type of testers are really guides more than anything else although saying that my original 2 devices were spot on.

So I still needed a tester and took the plunge with a new Fluke. Keep a lookout for this video, airing soon!
