Land Rover Defender TD5 Deployable side steps Part 5 (Puddle lights)

This is the fifth video in the series showing the Deployable step project for my Land Rover Defender TD5. I looked on the Web at just about every store but was unable to find what I needed so I ended up making them!

In this video I show how I incorporated the puddle led's into the steps. The plan is when the steps are deployed the led's will illuminate the ground so I can avoid pools of water or holes when I step out! The led's will illuminate to their full brightness in about half a second. The same, just in reverse (dim) when the step is lifted. I thought that way they look a bit more "professional"
