Land Rover Defender TD5 Deployable side steps Part 6 (Testing)

This is the sixth video in the series showing the Deployable step project for my Land Rover Defender TD5. I looked on the Web at just about every store but was unable to find what I needed so I ended up making them!

In this video I show how the steps do actually work as the doors are opened and closed. I have incorporated an alarm that sounds in the cable should the steps deploy for any reason other than the doors being opened, for example when driving.

The seventh part of the series will be the build of a reservoir tank for the T-Max air compressor.
