Drill press (Pillar drill) DRO (Digital Read Out) upgrade

I've had a pillar drill or drill press for many years. This year saw me install a digital speed readout or Tacho. Now you can see the installation of a DRO which will very accurately display the depth I have drilled into the work piece. The DRO was an eBay purchase for only £24 delivered. The exact same item is also available for a lot more money so shop wisely! I only needed 80mm of plunge (the max my drill press can plunge in one go) so bought the 150mm version and did a few mod's. The "upgrade" went well and I'm very happy with the results. There is at least one more mod to come for the drill so keep a look out on the channel.
