Intermediate Value Theorem: Opposite Sides of Earth have same Temperature

In this video I go over a very interesting example on the intermediate value theorem and prove that there are always two opposite points on the Earth with the same temperature. This may seem like a bold statement but it is in fact true and I got the idea for this video from the popular math YouTube channel "singingbanana" (http://youtube.com/singingbanana). I go over proving this fact by using the intermediate value theorem as well as a visual proof based on any given graphs of the temperature of the Earth with respect to space. This is a pretty cool mathematical fact in the real natural world so make sure to watch this video!
