Comparison Theorem for Type 1 Improper Integrals

In this video I go over a useful comparison theorem to determine if an improper integral of type 1 is divergent or convergent. This is useful in the case where evaluating an improper integral is either difficult or impossible to determine an exact number. Thus in those cases a good way to determine if the integral is divergent or convergent is by comparing it to the integral of another function, whose value can be determined. So basically if a function is always greater or always smaller than another function the corresponding integral and whether one converges or diverges can in turn tell us about the other function.
