Greetings, in this Unity tutorial I shall be showing you how to add shadows to text for your Unity UI TextMeshPro objects. This can be great if you want to add a drop shadow to your text.

On your TextMeshPro component, you need to enable an underlay, set the colour to be whatever you want your text shadow to be and modify the X and Y offsets to be where you want your shadows to be positioned.

That is all you need to do to add a shadow to your text in Unity.
