The solidify modifier is all about adding "thickness" to geometry, but is it really precise enough for precision modelling at the moment? I'll be showing you the solidify modifier in action and how to use it. I'll also then show you the alternative method which lends it's self to more precision modelling control. Thus showing you the operations that I use to achieve the same results when looking at precision modelling in blender.
