Install Homebrew: Just get it from the website, it's a mess to try to get it to work in the video description.

So downloading software these days is basically like performing a digital trust fall. There are a bunch of “fixes” for this problem, but far and away the best solution is a good package manager. On Linux this is pretty much standard, but it take a bit more work to get this set up on OSX (or Windows). But if you’re willing to throw away your terminal phobia, the ability to create a batch installer makes OSX’s Homebrew add-on, the coolest thing you’ve ever seen.
