Why:: A consistent creator of hardware projects, including a series on how to make an 8 bit pipelined CPU from scratch. The 3d printed buttons for an XBOX Adaptive Controller are pretty neat, too.

A quick Interview with the Creator

Can you please tell us a little about yourself and your channel?

Computers have always been a fascination of mine, I've made a career out of programming them but I've taken a personal interest in the inner workings. The problem with technical interests is that the odds of finding local people who share them can be low at the best of times. The solution is to point a camera at your projects, hit the upload button and see if you can find the other people who are interested.

The majority of the videos on my channel surround a long running series to build a complete computer (cpu, sound, graphics etc..) from elementary logic chips. My viewers from people with a general interest in computing and electronics, students and people with projects in the same general area looking for ideas, inspiration or that same sense of community.

Why did I join LBRY?

I've always been a proponent of digital rights and freedoms. The current big content platform did an amazing job of opening up content distribution to everyone but there are reasons it's not the best idea for a commercial company to have a monopoly. We as content consumers need alternatives and for that to happen we as creators need to support alternatives. I especially approve of the way LBRY has streamlined the processes of delivering content to the service.  It's easy for people to say we should support other platforms but every creator I know is over committed on time, the video transfer system makes it easy to support without being a big time cost.
