The Cardano ecosystem is moving towards full on-chain Governance where the genesis keys, the keys that hold onto the treasury of Cardano are burnt/destroyed and then handed over to the Cardano community.

This election is for members to form the ICC to help with this transition over the next year to ensure that everything is as smooth as possible between this hard fork and the next.
