IFS LASIK Surgery Shane Part 1 (Flap Cutting)

This is the "flap cutting" part of my IFS LASIK surgery, done at Seoul Eye Group in Seoul, Korea on November 11, 2014.

The whole thing was quick and painless. The exam and surgery were both done the same day, the exam lasted about 2 hours, and the surgery itself only took about 8 minutes for both eyes! I can now see better than 20/20!

My girlfriend and I chose to get this done in Korea because it was much less expensive there compared to having it done in the USA. In Korea it cost about $1200, while in the US it cost around $4000-$5000, so we basically got both of our eyes fixed and got a "free vacation" out of the deal with money left over! The staff at Seoul Eye Group are all very professional and also speak english, so it was a simple and hassle free experience.
