Reviewing Paint.NET vs MS Paint

And although Paint.NET needs to improve its drawing tools before I'm ready to replace MS Paint as my primary pixel art software, it's still a really great, feature rich program. If you're feeling limited by MS Paint in your pixel art, then Paint.NET has a lot of features you may be interested in.

In this video, I'm using Paint.NET version 4.2.1. As I say at the end of this video, if there's a software update that fixes any of these issues, or if there's a way in the current version of Paint.NET to fix any of my problems, please let me know in the comments as I would love to revisit this Paint.NET for a future video.

In this video, I attempt to pixelate a picture of myself. Even though I'm not terribly familiar with Paint.NET, I think it turned out pretty well. Still, there were plenty of frustrating moments when creating this high resolution pixel art self portrait.
