The Forge Mod, in minecraft terms, is like a boilerplate mod which'll allow you to install pretty much any other mod. Without it, the majority of mods will not work. This framework mod allows you to utilize many of its libraries to connect other mods to minecraft so they run properly.

What does this tutorial cover? We'll quickly show you how to install Forge using the Forge Installer (Not the Universal Jar). The reason is that since Minecraft 1.6.2, Mojang decided to change how to Install Forge which makes it confusing for some. This tutorial has been requested by many of my followers and I wanted to go over this simple way of doing it.

Modding in Minecraft can be difficult and often times can leave one scratching their head not knowing what to do next. In this Minecraft Mod tutorial series, I plan on helping people out by answering their questions, while providing them with a way to request mod installation tutorials where I will literally go through and show them how to install the mod they wish to see installed.
