*UPDATE *Debian 12 Debian 12 has made this installation irrelevant. Use: sudo apt install i3-wm
UPDATE 3/3/2023 Updated the script to streamline and debug. Works for me.
After installing Debian 11 with a minimal install, we are installing i3gaps using a series of bash scripts. Github for the install script: https://github.com/drewgrif/i3gaps-debian
./install.sh
This installs all packages necessary to run i3gaps with NO CUSTOMIZATION.
./nerdfonts.sh This installs a list of nine nerd fonts to the ~/.local/share/fonts directory
./copyconf.sh This installs the customized i3gaps seen in the thumbnail background.
