Rebranding Jade Protocol : A Community Proposal (on-chain vote)

The Jade Protocol community has proven to be innovative, intuitive, and iterative in its approach to treasury management and protocol development. Many in the community feel we should ride that momentum by taking the “DAO training wheels” off and setting up a deeper level of accountability for the JADE Alpha Army and our growing community.

Jade Protocol is a decentralized investment collective designed to leverage our community (the “JADE Alpha Army”) to identify and offer due diligence on liquid token and seed investment opportunities.

This is the first of three proposals designed to get community consensus on a series of innovations within the Jade Protocol DAO for immediate implementation:

1. Rebrand of Jade Protocol with a focus on JADE operating as an investment collective with innovation in community governance, DAO tools, decentralized development, and harnessing the Jade Protocol DAO’s collective resources
2. Removal of all messaging that is incongruent with this new rebranded messaging

A [YES] vote to this proposal confirms a new website rebrand and future marketing campaign which focuses on the following statements and values within Jade Protocol:

The JADE Alpha Army community has the power to submit proposals, vote on the most interesting and promising ideas, then make them real.

The guiding values of Jade Protocol are:

Adventurous: We push the envelope of what is possible and never back down from a worthy challenge Forward-Thinking: We look beyond emotional hype and directly towards future utility Data-Driven: Numbers don’t lie Authenticity: We speak our truth, even when it’s unpopular to do so Visionary: We see each desired outcome and collectively hold space for its completion

Removal of all messaging that is incongruent with new rebrand.

This would include the culling of all past content on Medium, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, etc that promotes a message that is no longer in line with the intentions and direction of the protocol.

Jade Protocol continues to survive and thrive within current market conditions due to our ability to champion and implement “iteration” quickly and when necessary.

Due to the iterative nature of Jade Protocol and the recent supply impact from the bonding event, we have several marketing storylines that are currently publicly available.

A [YES] vote on this proposal confirms the removal of all conflicting historical messages that do not reflect the current state of the marketplace and intentions of the JADE Alpha Army.

The opportunity is for our community to better position our brand and image to be consistent and appealing to new investors, which ultimately serves our entire ecosystem and each of our seed partners.
