2024-08-24 Barcelona

In August 2024, I visited Catalonia with its culture unique from the rest of Spain. I had heard about "overtourism", but was pleasantly surprised that much of Barcelona was quite tolerable even during peak travel season!

I did miss a LOT of places because I was there for only 2-3 days before a cruise. I stayed clear from Las Ramblas (hearing that it was too touristy) but also did not go inside any museums or galleries due to time constraints.

Of course, I made it a point to visit the Sagrada Familia cathedral and Parc Güell, as well as Parc de Montjüic (the site of the 1992 Summer Olympic Games).
