Episode 14: In this video we will temporarily disable root motion so that we can add move responsiveness to our attacks. Basically we will be able to rotate our character in the first parts of our attack animation. This is commonly done in games like Darksouls where you can spam attacks and rotate you character at the same time, even though most of the attacks are using root motion. .
Series Description: In this series we dig deeper into multiplayer blueprints by creating an Action RPG game from scratch with and everything will be completely free!. The series is more intended for intermediate unreal users as i might sometimes have a hard time to explain everything. But with that said i do intend to make it as beginner friendly as possible so that everyone can follow along. I will also use free assets as far as i can and we will cover a lot of what the engine has to offer.
It will be inspired by dark souls and other souls likes but i will also try to show you ways to make it more generic to fit more classical RPG and fantasy gameplay a swell.
