I used Blender for the first time ever & made this rad Hollow Icosahedron Fractal Iteration!
Joey Inflame
This is my first time using Blender, I created the model itself using Geometric Nodes, programmed in a custom Color Ramp node into the Material, and then placed a single light behind, animated using keyframed depth of field, animated camera, and a few other post-processing things, changed the background to a nice purple, and I love how the light shines through the subsurface scattering to make those cool green LED things - I used ambient occlusion node into the color ramp, and turned on long shadows in the light settings
Next step: to animate the object itself, not just the camera ;) ---- also next up will be to look into Ray-Tracing for Blender and see if I can get some extra cool realistic lighting happening that isn't particularly native to Blender
Stick around to see some updates as they progress ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umMYyKmZnfw
