First PCB - Printed Circuit Board [WILL IT WORK?.. yes, it does]
Jeremy Cook
My first printed circuit board (PCB) design, designed in KiCAD and ordered from OSHPark. PCB blinks up to 5 LEDs via an ATtiny85 chip and CR2032 battery, then goes to sleep until triggered again. Sort of a "Hello World" for PCB design.
Code for 3 versions available on GitHub: https://github.com/JeremySCook/ATtiny85-5LEDPCB
I followed along with this tutorial to figure out how to actually make a PCB: https://docs.kicad-pcb.org/5.1.5/en/getting_started_in_kicad/getting_started_in_kicad.html on KiCAD Instructor for class I took previously was Anool. Not sure what his schedule is like, but his Twitter is: https://twitter.com/anool
If you ask nicely, I might be able to put the revised PCB up as well (I don't think I have this actual design available anymore). It's pretty trivial though. Also, this video wasn't sponsored by OSHPark, or any other PCB manufacturer obviously. I did use a card with a discount code that I got years ago for the purchase, and it still worked, so that was pretty cool of them. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJXMZybXftk
