Can VSCode be a reasonable Spacemacs alternative? (VSpaceCode)

I recently had to use a Windows machine and rather than going through the pain of setting up Spacemacs I decided to try out a VS Code Extension, VSpaceCode, that tries to mimic Spacemacs. This video is a demonstration of this extension and what you can expect from it.
