What’s the best Apple product YOU used in 2021?
Evan Rodgers #icaveanswers if you could only use a single Apple device for 6 months, what would you choose? (You’d have equivalent Android/Windows).
Team Kinetix #iCaveAnswers How do you think Apple might implement Face ID on a MacBook? Face ID to unlock or log in is useful, would Apple Pay still require a physical button press like on the iPhone? If so, would that negate the point of having Face ID as you’d be pressing the Touch ID button anyway? Also, congrats on the new job! Here’s hoping that the uk government doesn’t restrict hospitality again 🤞
Arthur Swart #iCaveAnswers Since switching to M1, I haven't been able to play Cities Skylines because the 8GB MacBook Air runs out of RAM. I can't find a way to increase the pagefile size, which might solve the issue. Is there a way to do that and will a larger pagefile degrade the unified memory faster than usual?
Bryan Data #icaveanswers - data science dave, how dirty is your data that you need to wear a lab coat?
Thomas Rabenstein #iCaveAnswers Today I have a question about a topic that increasingly annoys me. It's about subscription models that are becoming increasingly widespread in the App Store. Every app, no matter how small, whether it's a simple ToDo app, an editor or even One Password, requires a monthly or annual subscription. As a user, I am willing to pay a reasonable price for an app if it is useful, in exchange for continuous improvements and updates (Final Cut, Logic Pro, Motion, etc.). A subscription model now leads to rejection for me and I focus more and more on native apps or a few apps that I need for work. I no longer buy apps with subscriptions. What is your opinion on this trend?
James Apple Would you upgrade to the iPhone 14 Pro Max to the iPhone 12 Pro Max?
NeuQuest #iCaveAnswers If Microsoft and Qualcomm have an exclusive deal, how am I able to run Windows 11 for ARM in Parallels on my M1 MacBook Pro Max?
