Installing Lakka on Amlogic S905w Android TV Box (Tanix TX3 Mini)

Things You Will Need

• A microSD card at least 4 GB https://amzn.to/36CpShC | https://amzn.to/3CXJngt | https://amzn.to/3JqyxSP

Downloads and Flashing to MicroSD

1. Download Lakka Download | Alternate
2. Download Balena Etcher Download
3. Download TX3 .dtb file Download
4. Rename the download .dtb file dtb.img
5. Run Balena Etcher
6. Burn Lakka image to microSD card
7. Copy the download dtb file from earlier to the root of the microSD card
8. Safely remove microSD and re-insert
9. Ignore/close the Windows dialogs to format the inserted microSD card

Booting to Lakka for the First Time

1. With an unfolded paperclip, press the reset button on the bottom of the device
2. While holding the reset button, plug the power adapter into the Android TV box
3. You should see the Lakka splash screen
