Step-by-step instructions how to download & install Stable Diffusion XL:

1. Download the SD XL AI model file: https://civitai.com/models/101055
2. Install a file archiver that can open and extract .7z files, such as 7-zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
3. Download the ComfyUI app, which is a web user interface for SD XL: https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI?tab=readme-ov-file#installing
4. Create a program folder for ComfyUI, for example "D:\Other Programs\ComfyUI"
5. Move the ComfyUI 7z file and SD XL model file to the ComfyUI program folder.
6. Extract the ComfyUI 7z file to the ComfyUI program folder.
7. Move the SD XL model file to the following folder "D:\Other Programs\ComfyUI\ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\models\checkpoints"
8. You have now installed the SD XL AI image generator with ComfyUI.
9. Next choose which bat file to run. If you have a Nvidia GPU with 8GB or more memory, choose "run_nvidia_gpu.bat", otherwise run ComfyUI with "run_cpu.bat". These files can be found in the "D:\Other Programs\ComfyUI\ComfyUI_windows_portable" folder.
