💁🏻🗄️ How to create a MySQL database at StackCP? HostMaria Tutorial

This is a short tutorial on how you can create a #MySQL #database in less than 1 minute directly from your #StackCP dashboard.

Note: This option is unavailable for WordPress Ultra packages.

To create a new MySQL database:

1. Scroll down to the section 'Web Tools'
2. Click on 'MySQL Databases'.

Here you can complete the following actions:

• Create new MySQL databases. Each MySQL database has a maximum size of 1024MB (1GB).
• Manage existing databases.
• Add additional MySQL users to databases.
• Manage your additional MySQL users.

3. Under Add a new MySQL Database, choose a name for your database. Note: Database names must be between 6 and 20 characters long, and we automatically add a suffix to avoid name collisions with other users.

4. Once you have chosen a name, click Create Database. Note: Your new MySQL database will automatically appear in the Manage MySQL Databases section underneath.

From here you can change the automatically generated password, monitor usage, remove your MySQL database, or log in to your database.

Additional Information:

Database names must be between 6 and 20 characters and can contain a mixture of letters, digits and hyphens. A password will be generated for you and we create a database user that matches your database name. Please note: We automatically add a suffix to database names to avoid any name collisions across our platform.

Also, you can create additional MySQL Users to access your databases. This is mostly used when a company wishes to have multiple users with different levels of access.
