StackCP Tutorial: Error Message "Could not install one-click as directory is not empty"
HostMaria
The #StackCP dashboard's #error #message "Could not install one-click as directory is not empty" indicates that the directory already contains files, possibly an entire website, or that the domain you are trying to install an application on is pointed to an incorrect directory.
To fix this, first determine the correct directory to which your domain should be pointed.
Go to your control panel, click on the Domains icon, and find which directory your domain is currently pointing to. In this case, my domain is pointed to the public HTML directory, which was set by default when I added this domain. Let's change it to the dancepole.uk directory and update it.
Now, go back to the installer, select the domain, and hit the Install WordPress button (or whatever application you are trying to install).
And voilà, our installation is successful! ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkoKu2U_3QQ
