How to set up FTP at your StackCP dashboard - HostMaria.com

This is a short video demonstration video with comments (for all our Cloud hosting users) on the topic: How to set up #FTP connection at your #stackcp dashboard.

1. Log in you #StackCP dashboard
2. Find section "Web Files" and click on "Ftp Accounts"
3. Create a new user Note: for the default admin we recommend to delete "public_html" text from the field "Subdirectory".
4. Unlock the FTP for 4 hours or 1 day (most usual practice)
5. Open your FilZilla
6. Open Site Manager
7. Add new site
8. Host: ftp.stackcp.com
9. Port: can stay empty or use 21
10. user: your ftp user you have created at stackcp (1st culumn)
11. the password of the above mentioned user
12. Click "Connect"

You should be in.

If you have difficulties: change "Encryption" to "Only use plain FTP"
